Single Review: Skycraper By Demi Lovato

   OK first of all I know that it kinda late..But still, I want to give my piece of shit about this song... By da way, Skycraper is Demi first single from her third studio album titled Unbroken.



One might expect that Demi first single will be a uptempo and dance oriented..but Fortunately


This song is more like a Rock inspired ballad...The first thing I like about this song is How Demi voice works very well with the song..You can feel the emotion flow and the energy of the song as Demi voice flow through the songs...Demi voice possessed a quality that is Soul kinda like....no such young singer have the kind of soulful voice that Demi has actually....


The song start with Demi singing in lower range note and went to mid and high upper belt in the middle of the song and then finish with Demi whispering at the end..This song is crafted with simple melody and no need the use of techno or auto tune kinda stuff which is so rampant nowadays...This song just rely on its simplicity and let Demi voice do the rest of the job..


One error that one with musical knowledge would notice is Demi voice...Her belt is strong but you can sense that she sang all her upper belt note with high larynx condition...Further proof..almost all her upper chest note fail to vibrate perfectly..This is one of the sign of high larynx singing.. 


Nevertheless, I fell in LOVE with this song...one thing that Differ Demi from other teen pop sensation is..She Got The VOICE.....sorrry Miley....
