Katy Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream’ Certified Double Platinum

An album responsible for garnering a record breaking five No.1 Billboard 100 singles including: "California Girls," Teenage Dream," "Fireworks," "E.T," and "Last Friday Night," Katy Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream‘ has enjoyed an impressive chart run on the Billboard 200 since its release on August 24th 2010.



Moving over 1.83 million copies since its release, it has spawned 5 No.1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 to date, debuting on the Billboard 200 with 192,000 copies sold in its first week.


Nominated in ‘Album Of The Year‘ category at the Grammy Awards 2011, the project makes Perry the fourth highest selling female artist to release an album in the 2010/2011 period- following Adele, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj.
