Is Mariah's "epic surprise" possibly be about a label move from Island Def Jam to Epic? Or are we just reading too much between the lines? 


It’s common knowledge Mariah still owes one more original album to Island. So for any Epic move to occur, LA and his new team would essentially have to “buy-out” the remainder of Mariah’s contract and could be quite costly.


I guess we will soon find out!


TheDivaJuice: Shooot....OMG..is this true..Ok if its true..I hope EPIC will do better in promoting Mariah album. Island sucks...they only focuses on promoting RIHANNA and Bieber...they sucks in choosing which singles should be released and etc....EPIC is under SONY by the way..well I hope her glory day with SONY will resume..she stills SONY biggest selling female act.
