Vocal Pluses: Her Ability to improvise song is excellant. Often change the original key into a higher key.
Her chest range is impressive. Ability to move easily from middle to upper chest range with ease. Her upper chest notes are clear, strong and well resonate. Her middle chest note is also clear and strong. If Christina Aguilera is having problem to belt G5 with ease, Charice easily hit that note and sustains it for a certain period.


Vocal Negatives: During early of her international career, she had a bad habit of pushing her larynx down in order to sound big especially when singing in a lower range note. It doesn't even sound natural, her timbre and tone suddenly change from big fat tone into thin and strong tone when she belt higher. The sudden change of the timbre of her voice proof that she is having a problem with her voice placement. Watch her performance of Whitney Medley during David Foster and Friends concert (Before she releases her debut album) and compare with her performance of To Love You More also from David Foster and Friends Concerts which she sings after her debut album is out. She is no longer practising the low larynx kinda things and her tone now sounds natural. Most of her recent performance, she sings lower range note with her natural tone, which sound much much better and the quality of her tone is really good. Her head voice especially B5 and above are not impressive and not fluid. Not have the agility to move esily between head voice notes especially a run that requires multi octaves head voice jumps.


Overall Evaluation: A great singer and probably the Greatest Teen Singers so far. She might be small and young, but her skills is quite impressive. If her people/label market her properly, she might be able to be a future DIVA.
