Nick Is Jealous Of Mariah's Hunky Personal Trainer

MARIAH CAREY and NICK CANNON are locked in a bitter feud over her hunky personal trainer – and Nick is demanding she fire him!



Desperate to lose the baby weight she gained before the April birth of her twins, the Grammy-winning singer has been work­ing overtime with celebrity trainer Bernardo Coppola – and sources tell The ENQUIRER the two have grown extremely close.


Meanwhile, Mariah’s hubby Nick kept busy with his hosting gig on “America’s Got Talent” until the season ended last month. He’s also been working on his comedy club act, his morning radio show and a slew of other projects.


“Bernardo has been more of a fixture in Mariah’s life than Nick lately,” an insider told The ENQUIRER.


“The trainer is with her for hours every day,    and then they socialize after workouts. They are always calling and texting each other regarding Mariah’s diet and exercise regimen.


“They’ve become great friends over the past few months, and when she sings Bernardo’s praises to Nick, he throws a fit.


“Nick’s so fed up with the close friendship and Mariah bragging about her trainer that he’s asked her to hire a female personal trainer.”


Mariah, 42, and Nick, 31, married in the Baha­mas in April 2008, just six weeks after meeting. Their twins, son Moroccan and daughter Mon­roe, were born on their third anniversary.


Shortly after the double birth, the “Always Be My Baby” songbird hired 30-year-old celebrity trainer Bernardo – who also works with several members of the “Glee” cast – to help her lose the baby weight.


“It was a rough time for Mariah after her twins were born, because she lost a lot of inde­pendence and had packed on the pounds during the pregnancy,” explained another source. “Nick kept working on every­thing from his comedy act to his radio show to his hosting gig on ‘Talent,’ while she sat at home overweight and trying to adjust to the changes.

“Then Bernardo came along. He helped Mari­ah get her confidence back about her looks and body. He quickly became one of her closest con­fidantes.”


Addesd the insider: “Nick gets hit on by hot women daily and has many friends who are women – so it’s ironic that he’d get so jealous and worried about Mariah be­coming too close to Bernardo.

                                                                      

“He needs to chill out and accept the fact that Bernardo has become part of Mariah’s posse.


“She refuses to get rid of a good friend just because her husband has had some jealousy pangs.”
