Single Review: Schoolin' Life by Beyonce
Classic? Ok yalll, let me get this straight. The way Bey crafted this song reminds me of R&B songs back in the 90's. Which is great, because 90's is the best era. Anyway, this song started with a thumping electro fuse beat and kinda give you a clue that this song is catchy and persuade you to listen to it till the end. You know, a situation when you listen to a song, and start thinking..."Shit this song sucks".Well this song ain't gonna give you any of those boring moment.
When the song dive into the Chorus, thats the pure point of this song. Beyonce's lead vocal equipped with the "ooh" "ooh" coos in the background such a great retro combination.
Don't expect a heart thumping vocal such as in 'Love On Top' that had all this keys/notes switching taking all over the song. This song just a straight angry Bey telling damn thing straight to your face with edgy tone. Eg " Not a preacher" LOL..Love that phrase...
For sure, If you a fan of Bey works, then this songs totally gonna rock your day. Highly recommended...So get this song yall...rock it in your iTunes, Ipod, or whatever.
