Is Leona Copying Mariah Carey ?

Leona during the early stage of her international career has been marketed as The New Mariah Carey by her management team. This is just to create a hype for her international debut. First of all, Leona is indeed a great singer, but she's no where near to be compared with Mariah Carey. No offence....

Here are some of the pictures that Leona copied Mariah: 

From top to bottom almost look the same..Except at the cleavage part. Ok now we know where Leona got her inspiration for her Grammy debut. But Mariah look more fabulous OK..sorryyy no offence Leona..  

OK.. look at the the label..Both have their name on top of the album cover. Both have wavy and curly hair..except Mariah is more curly.. Well its early 90's..kinda trend.. But Leona made it look fresh by having a modern wavy hair.. 

I remember reading a British tabloid saying.. Move aways Mariah, Leona is COMING. I was LIKE.. WTF???? And they've been saying Leona sings much better and has the same technical ability as Mariah..OK LOL..

OKayyy.. Enough said...  you know what she is trying to be. Thank God this photo of Leona dressing like Mariah's Butterfly cover didn't end up as Leona's Echo cover.

TheDivaJuice: Same thing happen to Mariah when she has been frequently cited as The New Whitney during early of her career.. But Mariah is a smart woman. Instead of living with that title. She quickly change her vocal styling on her second album and so on and she'd never try to dress or be like Whitney. She wants people to know her as Mariah not Whitney wannabee. Now, she is the Most Successful Female artist ever... Better than Whitney.. That's what we called Hard Work. Leona?? Please Take Notes..

One thing I like about Mariah.. The tone and timbre of her voice changes throughout her albums. One can easily recognize her voice/songs and tell specifically from which album it came. For example, her voice in Daydream is completely different from her voice in Music Box and far more different than her Debut album.
