Divas On Chart: World Top Album Chart :Week 37

This week our Divas are battling moderately on the chart..Adele sophomore album ' 21' kindly rested at no: 3 with worldwide sales stands at 314,000 copies. Thus, bringing her total sales worldwide standing at more than 8,000,000 copies sold. Recently her label announced that  '21' had been shipped  around 10 million copies. Take note that shipment is the amount of RECORDS in STORE, not the actual sales.Thus IFPI (International Federation Of Phonographic Industry) certified the album 4 x Platinum for sales above 8,000,000 copies.


Taking the no: 7 position is non-Other than Miss Gaga, with Born This Way. Which sold 85,000 copies this week. Currently IFPI certified the album 2 x Platinum for sales above 4 million copies. Take note that, Born This Way already surpasses 5 million sales mark a month ago.


Beyonce latest released '4' resting at no: 8. '4' which sold 77,000 this week still hasn't garner any certification from IFPI amid slower sales of latest released. Take not that, this is '4' 10th weeks on the chart.

Amy Winehouse recent death had cause her albums sales to skyrocket in Worldwide albums chart. Her sophomore album, Back to Black sold 71,000 copies this week thus position itself at no: 9. It is Back to Black 101st weeks on the chart. Currently IFPI certified this album 6 x Platinum for sales above 12 million copies.
