Mariah Carey Triumphant Live at NFL [Review]

Mariah Carey thrilled the crowds when she opened the NFL pre-show at Rockefellar Center, New York. Mariah Carey performed four sets of songs [ Touch My Body, Always Be My Baby, We Belong Together and Triumphant]  but only Triumphant was televised across United States. 



This performance opened with rap by Meek Mill and Continue until Rick Ross, and Mariah only physically appeared after Rick Ross finished his verse. Mariah overall did an OK performance.

Actually, I didn't put high expectation towards this performance as I already knew that she will probably sounds hoarse during this performance. The evidence of the hoarseness of her voice can be heard during the last minute of this performance when she shouted the rappers name. 

Pro: There's a time when I can hear her mid range is solid. Plus, her whistle is on point and well executed.

Cons: She is clearly uncomfortable in this performance. She did lipped couple of high notes [belt]. Listen to the sudden volume drop during this performance.

Conclusion: For those who's eager to hear Mariah's whistle, might be pleased by this performance, but those who want to see impeccable Mariah, might be dissapointed with this performance.

TheDivaJuice: Back in the day, Kelly Price usually the one who did all the Tv performance rehearsal for Mariah. Because, Mariah was on vocal rest. Gosh, I do think that Mariah should rest her voice and avoid any rehearsals. Get someone to do it for her. It's not like she is dancing across the stage that she really needs to know her position.

P/s: She did LOOK GREAT and very Diva-ish in the Golden dress.
