Pink and Christina Aguilera New Albums Due In 2012

With major releases from the likes of Beyonce, Britney Spears and Adele, 2011 was quite the year for Sony Music. A trend which looks set to continue after a highly placed exec lifted the lid on some of the label’s big plans for next year.



Joe Riccitelli, who serves as Head of Promotions at Sony’s lead label RCA, stopped by Coast 93.3 to talk about what 2012 holds for their roster.


Christina Aguilera is set to make a comeback in 2012 after her No.1 hit with Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger." And it’s great to hear a new Pink project is also being conjured up. 


Pink rarely disappoints, which has us excited about her first album since giving birth to daughter Willow.


News also came that Britney Spears will be taking a much needed seat next year. With her recent engagement and wedding in the near future it looks like Brit will spend 2012 being a mother and new wife.

TheDivaJuice: I'm really excited about Xtina new album. Really love her material. Not quite into Bionic actually. By the way, Bionic is not THAT bad. I love couple of songs in that album if not the most. 2011 is a tough ride for Xtina, with her  flop album and weight issue which pretty much clouded her achievement with the song ' Move Like Jagger ' which is her fourth no: One single.

By the way, I really excited and still wondering what kind of SOUND she will pursue with her next album. So lets see, whether Xtina will come back stronger next year.
