Single Review: Criminal by Britney Spears

It is confirmed that Criminal will be Brit's Fourth Official singles from Femme Fatale..This song set on Mid tempo beat which allow us to hear more of Britney's voice rather than robotic Till The World Ends, I Wanna Go etc."Criminal" is a guitar-driven midtempo song, which incorporates a folk-style flute melody. It is influenced by the works of ABBA and Madonna. The song speaks of being in love with an outlaw.



Criminal is completely fresh and different from other songs in the Femme Fatale album. With this song Brit is divided in between rock and ballad vibe, which give the song an extra value and one of Brit's different body of work.


The only area we can criticize is regarding her VOICE.We all know her voice isn't that great. BUT, luckily in this song, her voice is more expressing and remind us of the song called Everytime. But with this song, Brit added a poppish and modern sound that suite today mainstream. So there's no term such as Outdated.


Sadly, I always wanted her to experiment with her voice more...her voice in this song is simple and I know, she can do much better than that.If she decided to experiment more with her voice.


By da way, this songs is worth to listen too...it will hook you in the first listen only....Bet this song will be her next top Ten hit on The Billboard Hot 100.
